I am very good at commercials now

that's right, I took the much lauded Brooke and Mary On-Camera commercial class and I am a certified pro. I can read copy! I can say my name! (I struggled with learning how to say my name not like an idiot) Occasionally I can improv something and be funny! Occasionally I fail at that!

I think commercials are surprisingly hard for folks (me) that just got out of a serious acting training program because all they want is just you, not some character or deep thought about the text. Just like say you like Doritos, it's not about how the chip reminds you of your tough and meager younger years in Detroit.

Side note talking about Doritos has led me down the internet rabbit hole of various Dorito flavors. Flavors such as Spicy Street Taco (not to be confused with just regular old Taco), Ranch Dipped Hot Wings, and something called Jacked 3-D Bacon Cheddar Ranch which mostly just sounds like a Transformer. And something called "Toasted Corn" which isnt that just a corn chip?

in conclusion dear Doritos please make me your spokesperson because I need to pay for this class I just took.

playas gonna play,

ellie
